Statistics: Russia’s Jan–May inflation at 2.9%, EU inflation flat
MOSCOW, Jun 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s inflation amounted to 2.9% in January–May, while prices in the E.U. remained flat in the period despite a 0.3% growth in May and a 0.1% increase in April, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement Friday quoting Eurostat data.
In May, Russia’s consumer prices went up 0.4%.
